Connect, collaborate, create – creating art together. This workshop is for artists of all levels to work together. Will include information

and shared discussion on the elements of painting, exercises, and hands-on painting. Class participants will exchange information, share how they begin a painting, how they work, and what artistry they want to acquire or refine. Each can bring a work they want to discuss.

Location: MacRostie Art Center 218-326-2697. Then Essentials and Basics for Painting

Explore the basic elements of color, color mixing, composition, and the elements of painting. This hands-on class will focus on the history of painting, examining components and color mixing. Participants will experiment with composition and create an acrylic or gouache painting on 11x14 canvas. Great for beginners and those wishing to expand their painting skills. All materials provided.
